Description: | The convince creature rune was created by druids to befriend their beloved animals, even when they were hostile. But soon it turned out that the rune was also effective on even more powerful creatures and could even control the minds of more intelligent beings. However, the druid creating the rune has to transfer quite some of his power into the rune, and the later use on a creature demands another exertion of power depending on the nature of the creature to be put under the spell. Thus it is very easy to control a wolf, but very demanding to make a demon skeleton follow. And some creatures, either too intelligent or just too dumb, are resistant to the effects of this spell. Being defensive, this spell is limited to the use of druids who have to pay 1300 gold coins to learn this spell. You need to have a magic level of at least 10 to cast this spell, and it takes 100 mana. The originating rune can be used once by persons of magic level 5 or higher. |
